Customer Sales & Acquisition Controller

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and curious colleague to join our team in Cluj. The Customer Sales & Acquisition Controller combines business controlling, sales planning and customer acquisition support in an international environment, working closely with global sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales planning, forecasting and KPI reporting, turning data into business insights.
• Coordinate global planning cycles (Current Forecast, Target Business Plan, year‑end closing).
• Ensure data quality through validation and plausibility checks.
• Support pricing, revenue and profitability topics to enhance business transparency.
• Lead customer acquisition from opportunity identification to project award, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Manage acquisition timelines, business case preparation and internal approvals.
• Analyse profitability, capacity, investment and volume scenarios for strategic decisions.
• Coordinate transition from acquisition to series production and support contract & change management.

Required profile

• Background in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in controlling or acquisition support.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data.
• Advanced Excel knowledge and affinity for digital tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Very good English and German language skills.
