Composite Parts Manufacturing Referent (Thermoplastic)

About the role

This internship supports the production of composite parts and sub‑assemblies for aerospace structures. You will work on thermoplastic components, applying both manual and automated manufacturing techniques under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture and integrate composite parts or sub‑assemblies to build main composite structures.
• Prepare raw materials, cut layers, clean molds and apply release agents or foils.
• Perform prepreg, resin‑infusion and resin‑injection processes.
• Execute manual or automated lay‑up, draping, vacuum bagging and vacuum checks.
• Operate autoclaves, ovens or other heating devices for polymerisation.
• Demould parts, carry out rework, and repair composite components.
• Conduct first‑level quality inspections and ensure traceability throughout the process.
• Follow composite health‑and‑safety rules and report any compliance risks.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate interested in composite manufacturing.
• Awareness of compliance and integrity requirements.
• Ability to work safely with specialised equipment and follow detailed procedures.
