Cloud Engineer Senior Associate

About the role

Join PwC’s Cloud Security Engineering team as a Senior Associate, helping to shape the security of a global multi‑cloud platform. You will design, implement and support cloud security solutions while collaborating with stakeholders across the business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, testing and deploying cloud security solutions across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Contribute to and lead medium‑sized projects; support larger initiatives that improve security posture and operational processes.
• Perform day‑to‑day security engineering tasks – develop Python/PowerShell scripts, troubleshoot, monitor and remediate.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical controls and architecture.
• Produce and maintain documentation, runbooks, test plans and playbooks.
• Support monitoring, logging, alerting, incident triage and remediation activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and cross‑team collaboration.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant cloud security or security engineering experience.
• At least one cloud security certification or progress toward certification.
• Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python or similar).
• Strong communication skills for working in a complex, matrixed organization.
