About the role
You will build, fix, and connect the software that runs the company, replacing manual work with efficient .NET applications. You will collaborate with machine operators and office staff to digitise daily tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop C# applications to automate data entry and replace paper forms across departments.
- Modernise legacy internal software using .NET 8+ and update codebases.
- Create APIs and integrations to connect shop‑floor data, ERP, and office tools.
- Design and maintain SQL Server databases for accurate, accessible data.
- Troubleshoot and quickly fix issues in existing internal tools.
Required profile
- Enjoy writing code that solves practical problems rather than theoretical design.
- Comfortable working on the shop floor to see software usage firsthand.
- Ability to transform unoptimised processes into logical digital workflows.
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
Required skills
- C# / .NET (1–4 years, ASP.NET Core)
- SQL Server and strong SQL query optimisation
- Frontend development with Razor, React or Angular
- API development and JSON data handling
- Daily use of Git (GitHub or GitLab)
