C++ Software Developer with C#

About the role

Look4IT is looking for a skilled Software Engineer proficient in C++ and C# to join its software development group. The role contributes to developing modules for civil engineering design applications used in infrastructure projects worldwide, turning the lifecycle of infrastructure assets into digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain civil engineering applications, working independently and with a global project team.
• Take ownership of the functionality written and the designs implemented.
• Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and that it meets the required use cases.
• Provide and accept constructive feedback.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, commit to continuous learning and integrate them.

Required profile

• BS or MS in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing high-quality software.
• Proactive, results-oriented, able to work independently and solve problems, with good verbal and written communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C++ and experience in C#.
• Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Ability to design architectures of moderate complexity, equivalent to subsystems.
• Nice to have: Microsoft Visual Studio.NET Framework, Agile and Scrum, and XML/XSLT.
