Application Specialist – Business Resiliency

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Application Specialist for its Business Resiliency Management (BRM) team within Marsh Technology, based in Cluj-Napoca. This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week in the office. You will plan, develop, implement and support technology solutions for the BRM department, working with business leaders and stakeholders to define process requirements and system specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain BRM applications and tools such as Salesforce/Fusion, Everbridge, Power BI and a mobile app.
• Code, test, debug and deploy software changes in line with project plans and timelines, following the MMC SDLC methodology.
• Design and build small technical modules and enhancements, and troubleshoot coding and configuration issues.
• Provide technical support for escalated issues, partner with the help desk, and monitor support tickets and calls to share insights on system performance.
• Mentor other analysts, help develop project plans, and communicate software development roadmaps and delivery status.

Required profile

• Subject matter knowledge in Business Resiliency and/or experience in risk management, compliance or audit environments.
• At least 3 years of experience in software configuration and development, with strong exposure to Salesforce/Fusion and Everbridge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, including explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, and professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SDLC/ALM tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO) and Planview.
• Experience with Salesforce/Fusion and Everbridge.
