Trainee Tax Analyst

About the role

Join EveryMatrix as a Trainee Tax Analyst in Bucharest and gain hands‑on experience with international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work alongside seasoned tax professionals in a supportive, multinational environment, building a solid foundation for a future senior tax career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and coordinating tax compliance obligations for group entities.
• Collect, review, and organise information required for tax filings and reporting.
• Liaise with tax authorities and support administrative aspects of tax correspondence.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Treasury and external advisors on tax matters.
• Maintain tax records, documentation and compliance trackers.
• Support tax registrations, monitoring and other administrative tasks.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the Group Tax team.
• Help senior members with day‑to‑day tax projects, research, reconciliations and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Recent graduate (up to 3‑month internship) or candidate with 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Interest in taxation, tax compliance and international business.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
