Sales Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

About the role

Remote People is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the sales of photovoltaic and battery energy storage system (BESS) products in Romania. The role will own the full sales cycle, develop channel partners and manage key accounts to drive revenue growth in the clean‑energy market.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve annual, quarterly and monthly revenue targets for photovoltaic and battery storage product lines.
• Identify and build relationships with project owners, distributors, EPCs and system integrators, creating a structured channel partner network.
• Manage existing accounts, providing product selection advice, technical support and driving repeat orders and upsell opportunities.
• Lead commercial negotiations from proposal to contract execution, coordinate order fulfilment and manage receivables.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, policy changes and pricing trends, delivering insights to shape product strategy.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in BESS, solar PV or related clean‑energy sectors with a track record in channel development.
• Strong knowledge of the solar and storage market.
• Commercially driven, strategic thinker comfortable with both individual contributor and team‑lead responsibilities.
• Long‑term commitment to the clean‑energy industry.
