Room Attendant

About the role

The Radisson Hotel Group is hiring a full-time Room Attendant in Bucharest. The role covers the daily cleaning and preparation of guest rooms, minibar product care and compliance with room-cleaning time standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect the daily work schedule and keys at the start of each shift and return them at the end of the day.
• Keep the guest room door open while servicing and lock it properly when leaving.
• Keep the housekeeping trolley and vacuum cleaner clean, well-stocked and in good working order.
• Stock the trolley with linen, guest amenities and cleaning supplies at the start and end of each shift.
• Separate damaged or rewashable linen and return it to the Laundry Department.
• Clean guest rooms daily, remove used bed and bathroom linen, remove waste, dust surfaces, vacuum and clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Replenish amenities, magazines and stationery, and report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Do not disturb or move guests' personal belongings unless they are in the waste bin; assist guests by removing food trays and service trolleys.
• Check minibar product expiry dates, record and report expired or damaged items, and sort and recycle used packaging.
• Meet the average room-cleaning time standard: 30 minutes per room for Radisson and 50 minutes per room for Park Inn.
