Kitchen Steward

About the role

The Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Kitchen Steward in Bucharest on a full-time basis. The role keeps the kitchen clean and supplies clean tableware to the Head Chef, and involves operating the dishwasher and maintaining kitchen hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware and cutlery.
• Operate the dishwasher according to operating instructions.
• After cleaning pots and pans, place them in their designated storage area.
• Wash dirty dishes and keep an adequate supply of clean tableware for the Head Chef.
• Polish cutlery and, when required, collect dirty dishes from the employee cafeteria.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by assisting kitchen staff and following the company's cleaning policies and procedures.
• Clean and polish the entire kitchen area.
• Disinfect kitchen floors at the end of each working day.
• Remove waste whenever necessary and clear the kitchen of empty boxes and unnecessary equipment.
• Follow the work schedule, labour regulations, internal regulations and lawful instructions of the direct supervisor.
• Observe occupational health and safety rules, including fire prevention procedures.
• Keep confidential all company operations and salary information.
