Junior Tax Analyst

About the role

EveryMatrix is seeking a Junior Tax Analyst to join its Bucharest team. You will gain exposure to a wide range of international tax matters while working alongside experienced tax professionals in a supportive, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and coordination of tax compliance obligations for group entities.
• Support the collection, review, and organization of information required for tax filings and reporting.
• Liaise with tax authorities and assist with administrative aspects of tax correspondence and inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Treasury, and external advisors.
• Maintain tax records, documentation, and compliance trackers.
• Assist with tax registrations, compliance monitoring, and other tax‑related administrative matters.
• Provide general administrative support to the Group Tax team.
• Support senior team members with day‑to‑day tax projects, research, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
• Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of tax processes, procedures, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Recent graduate (internship of at least 3 months) or candidate with up to 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Interest in taxation, tax compliance, and international business.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

What we offer

• 22 days of annual leave, increasing up to 32 days after five years of service.
• Hybrid work schedule after the first three months, with up to 50 remote days per year.
