Business Development Manager HPE

About the role

Ingram Micro, a leading technology distributor in the global IT sales channel, is looking for a Business Development Manager HPE to join its team in Romania. The role drives growth, strengthens partner relationships and accelerates HPE solutions adoption across the market, focusing on HPE Aruba Networking.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of channel partners, ensuring strong engagement and revenue growth
• Drive sales of HPE Aruba Networking solutions in line with regional strategies and targets
• Identify new business opportunities and lead pipeline generation
• Develop and execute joint business plans with partners and HPE stakeholders
• Give partners product knowledge, commercial guidance and go-to-market support
• Work with marketing, technical and operations teams to deliver a seamless partner experience
• Monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs to inform strategy
• Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting and performance tracking

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT or a related field
• At least 5 years of strategic sales, business development or account management experience, ideally in distribution
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions and enterprise networking and cybersecurity; HPE experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage partner ecosystems and drive year-over-year profitability growth
• Strong negotiation skills and experience closing complex, solution-based deals
