GIS Engineer Advisor (German)

About the role

Accenture Industry X is looking for a GIS Engineer Advisor who is fluent in German and English to support large infrastructure and construction projects. You will work with cutting‑edge ESRI technologies to ensure reliable geospatial data, automate workflows, and deliver actionable visual insights.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, optimise and monitor GIS platforms such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Hub.
• Design, implement and maintain data pipelines and automated workflows for geospatial and project data.
• Develop, optimise and operate dashboards and spatial reporting solutions for data‑driven decision making.
• Create and maintain structured data collection tools (e.g., Survey123) and ensure high data quality through validation and analysis.
• Provide user support, training, documentation and advisory services to stakeholders across interdisciplinary project teams.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and German (B2/C1) with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Relevant experience in data, IT or GIS roles within large infrastructure or construction projects, including knowledge of construction phases and terminology.
• Proven ability in data management, data quality assurance, reporting and dashboard development to support operational decisions.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the ESRI suite: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Hub, Survey123, Experience Builder.
• Workflow automation using Power Automate.
• Data pipeline design and implementation.
• Dashboard development and spatial reporting.
