About the role

Bosch Engineering Center Cluj offers a PhD scholarship for talented doctoral students to work on cutting‑edge software and hardware research. The position provides a monthly stipend of 2000 RON and the opportunity to collaborate with Bosch experts on AI‑driven automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop advanced neural‑network training strategies for autonomous systems.
• Optimize neural‑network models for embedded hardware.
• Design end‑to‑end AI solutions for autonomous vehicle applications.
• Apply AI techniques to optimize PCB component placement considering thermal, mechanical and EMC constraints.
• Integrate electronics into mechanical components using advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Contribute to the creation of dedicated automotive systems focused on innovative production.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a full‑time doctoral program (2nd or 3rd year).
• Demonstrated academic excellence with publications or conference contributions.
• Research interests aligned with one of the five proposed topics.
• Ability to work onsite at Bosch Engineering Center Cluj.
