Embedded Software Engineer - Networking

About the role

Accenture Industry X is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer specialized in networking to join its Software Product & Platform Engineering team. You will work on real‑time, MCU‑based systems that form the core of future Software‑Defined Vehicle platforms, focusing on Ethernet communication and low‑level networking components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded C++ software for real‑time MCU platforms.
• Implement and optimise Ethernet communication stacks, drivers, and low‑level networking components.
• Configure and manage L2 switches, VLANs, and embedded network communication.
• Collaborate with hardware and system teams on debugging, integration, and feature development.

Required profile

• Strong C++ skills in embedded environments.
• Hands‑on MCU development experience on Arm Cortex‑M/R, Infineon AURIX TriCore, or similar architectures.
• Experience with RTOS development (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet and embedded networking stacks such as lwIP.
• Experience developing drivers for Ethernet MAC/PHY and specialised SoC subsystems.
• Experience writing software to configure and manage L2 switches over SPI or in‑band protocols.
• Familiarity with VLANs and network segmentation.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Ethernet AVB/TSN for time‑sensitive applications.
