Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Analysis Engineer will support Bosch’s Cluj plant by planning, executing and reporting physicochemical analyses for products developed across the company. The role ensures high‑quality, timely results while contributing to method development and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, plan and execute physicochemical analyses in accordance with instructions and standards.
• Evaluate samples, collect data and prepare analytical reports.
• Monitor activities to guarantee timely delivery with expected quality and cost levels.
• Plan, execute and track analysis tasks for products from other departments.
• Develop new physicochemical analysis methods and techniques.
• Contribute to the implementation of new techniques and methods.
• Provide technical support to teams in solving issues.
• Estimate cost and time required for analyses where applicable.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations at general, intermediate and advanced levels.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related field.
• Experience with complex technical projects and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions.
• Process‑optimization and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of physical, chemical and mechanical effects on system behaviour.
• Experience with testing methods and analytical techniques.
• Understanding of automotive quality processes.
• Experience in product analysis, electronic systems analysis and product audits.
• English – intermediate level; German – a plus.
