Working Student – Manufacturing Engineering Support

About the role

Join Bosch's Cluj Plant as a Working Student supporting manufacturing engineering. You will work side‑by‑side with an experienced mentor on the production line, gaining hands‑on experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems while contributing to smooth, efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the mentor with mechanical and pneumatic equipment on the production line.
• Observe, participate in, and suggest improvements for the production process.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic issues to reduce downtime.
• Help maintain and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support routine maintenance tasks under guidance.
• Participate in sample campaigns, production trials, and 0‑series activities.
• Identify bottlenecks and work with the mentor to resolve them in real time.
• Report mechanical, pneumatic, or quality issues promptly.
• Develop practical skills in a dynamic production environment.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or Master student, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of production processes; experience in electronics or hardware production is a plus.
• Fluent English (German is an advantage).
• Reliable, proactive attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
