Windchill Development Team Lead

About the role

Accenture Industry X is seeking a PTC Windchill Development Team Lead to drive PLM transformation projects for a global client. You will lead Windchill development, guide a distributed team, and support integration with SAP S/4HANA across complex engineering and manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, customization, testing, and deployment of Windchill solutions.
• Guide developers through design reviews, code reviews, estimation, task planning, and delivery governance.
• Support Windchill‑to‑SAP integration scenarios, including PLM‑to‑ERP data flow, BOM and master data exchange, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, SAP teams, functional consultants, and project management.
• Contribute to data model clean‑up, configuration, troubleshooting, release activities, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and facilitate workshops, demos, status discussions, and solution reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on PTC Windchill development and implementation.
• Experience in a technical lead, senior developer, or development workstream lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Windchill PDMLink and customization.
• Proficiency in Java‑based development and enterprise integration.
• Experience with Windchill‑to‑SAP integration, preferably SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to work directly with client stakeholders and across technical and business teams.
• Experience in Scrum or Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
