Transfer Pricing Manager

About the role

PwC’s Bucharest office is seeking a Manager to lead its Transfer Pricing practice. You will work with multinational clients, advise on complex tax matters and interact directly with Romanian tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex transfer pricing projects, including tax audits and negotiations with authorities.
• Prepare and negotiate Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAP).
• Provide strategic transfer pricing advice to multinational clients.
• Manage client relationships and mentor junior team members.
• Support business development and contribute to thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, economics or law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transfer pricing or tax advisory.
• Proven leadership and project‑management abilities.
• Fluency in Romanian and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Transfer pricing expertise, including OECD Guidelines and Romanian TP legislation.
