Technical Support Engineer

About the role

Axon is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for the Dedrone by Axon product family. The role is based in Bucharest and combines on‑site collaboration with remote work, delivering high‑quality assistance to customers and partners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a complete understanding of Dedrone by Axon Airspace Security Solutions.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems including account setup and network configuration.
• Take ownership of reported issues and drive them to resolution within agreed time limits.
• Log, track, and prioritize multiple requests while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for root‑cause analysis and follow escalation procedures.
• Participate in on‑call support and weekend coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in customer or technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Willingness to obtain a drone pilot license in the future.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
