Stock & Asset Coordinator

About the role

Air Liquide Romania is looking for a Stock & Asset Coordinator to drive cylinder and mobile asset efficiency, ensure inventory accuracy and support field operations across plants, hubs and distributor sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage target stock levels, purchase orders for new cylinders, conversion changes, dead‑stock scrapping and investment settlements.
• Lead physical inventory audits at plants, hubs and distributor locations and investigate damaged or idle assets in the field.
• Oversee barcode scanning system (GTS/Gideons), ensure SAP/Oracle data accuracy, update master data and develop user‑friendly digital tools.
• Plan cylinder retesting demand, manage retesting purchase orders and supervise component inventory such as valves, guards, dip tubes and labels.
• Issue sourcing orders for full cylinders (SG, Propane, external fillings) and coordinate stock re‑allocation across the country and hubs.
• Act as the central asset focal point for Production, Sales, Customer Service and Finance, collecting sales loop and customer data.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Romanian (mandatory).
• Proactive, field‑oriented, hands‑on problem‑solver with analytical and digital mindset.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Asset Management or Industrial Operations.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Proficiency in barcode scanning tools such as GTS/Gideons.
• Ability to maintain and update master data accurately.
• Familiarity with digital inventory and tracking tools.
