Senior/Clinical Trial Manager - Biotech

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. It is looking for a Clinical Trial Manager to join its Biotech team in Bucharest. You will oversee the planning, execution and completion of clinical trials, keeping them on time and within budget while following regulatory guidelines, and will lead a research department by working with cross-functional teams and managing site relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of clinical trials, adhering to timelines, budget and quality standards
• Work with cross-functional teams to set up and run clinical trial protocols and procedures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trial investigators and stakeholders
• Ensure trials comply with local, national and international regulations and ethical guidelines
• Solve problems and make key decisions on trial design, vendor selection and risk management

Required profile

• University degree in medicine, science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Multinational clinical trial management experience
• Proven ability to deliver the clinical results of a study
• Subject-matter expertise in the assigned therapeutic area
• Prior monitoring experience preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
