Senior Software Quality Engineer

About the role

Bosch Service Solutions in Timișoara is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join its software development team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our enterprise‑grade applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to design, implement and improve software applications.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases derived from requirements, bugs and user stories.
• Execute manual and automated tests (integration, regression, black‑box, UI, security, and customer acceptance).
• Analyse, document and report defects in Jira with comprehensive reproduction steps.
• Perform routine automated and exploratory inspections, and challenge requirements when re‑work is needed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of REST‑API concepts and testing.
• Experience writing clear test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Hands‑on experience with automated test frameworks (PlayWright, Cypress, Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter).
• Familiarity with debugging tools (Jest, Mocha, Chrome/Firefox DevTools).
• Good scripting skills in JavaScript or Python.
