Senior Software Engineer Regulatory News (AI/C#/Java)

About the role

The London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Regulatory News Service team, focusing on AI‑enhanced user experiences and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications with embedded AI features.
• Collaborate with product owners and users to define next‑generation product vision.
• Analyse requirements, evaluate solutions, and implement iterative customer value.
• Conduct peer reviews, ensure secure, extensible, and reusable designs.
• Maintain code quality, perform code analysis, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Business‑level proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Proven ability to build intelligent applications using AI technologies, LLMs and agentic frameworks.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑level software in Java or C#.
• Understanding of OO, MVC, REST, Web API and unit‑testing frameworks.
• Good knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
