Senior SAP SD Consultant – Application Management Support

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our Application Management Support team in Bucharest. You will work with leading companies in mechanical engineering, automotive, life sciences and chemicals, delivering end‑to‑end sales and distribution solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Customize SAP Sales & Distribution to implement complex business requirements.
• Enhance order‑to‑cash processes, including pricing, delivery, billing and output determination.
• Analyse and resolve functional and technical issues in SAP SD.
• Handle 3rd‑level support tickets, track processes and follow‑up with clients.
• Create functional specifications together with key users.
• Develop SAP SD extensions such as e‑invoicing, IDoc processing and credit management.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end sales and logistics processes.
• Several years of consulting experience with SAP SD, including S/4HANA.
• Understanding of adjacent modules (MM, FI, LE) and SAP interfaces.
• Experience with EDI/IDoc and troubleshooting/debugging tools.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, customer orientation and proactive communication.
• Excellent English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client workshops.
