About the role
As a Senior SAP PS Consultant you will join a dedicated team providing Application Management Support for SAP Project System (PS) in Bucharest. You will work closely with leading manufacturers, delivering high‑quality customisations, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring smooth operation of SAP landscapes.
Key responsibilities
- Implement complex customisations in SAP PS based on detailed requirements.
- Adapt SAP standard functionality in the PS area for project‑specific or demand‑driven needs.
- Analyse technical application issues, identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
- Handle 3rd‑level support tickets, tracking and resolving incidents, changes and service requests.
- Collaborate with clients to create precise specifications for technical implementation.
- Conduct presentations and workshops for customers and prospects.
- Continuously expand expertise in SAP PS, including new SAP products and enhancements.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of the full value chain and business/logistical processes, especially in manufacturing.
- Several years of consulting experience in IT‑side support of SAP PS projects, including customisation.
- Knowledge of related SAP modules (SD, PP, MM, CO, FI); initial experience with S/4HANA is a plus.
- Proven experience handling support requests (incidents, changes, service requests).
- Service‑oriented mindset with a proactive, collaborative work style.
- Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
