Senior Product Designer (2 roles)

About the role

Garmin’s Cluj office is looking for two Senior Product Designers to join its Fitness division. You will work on high‑impact products such as Garmin Golf and Garmin Connect Mobile, shaping experiences for millions of active users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end product design process, from research and prototyping to final visual design.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define design direction, create interaction solutions, and ensure feasibility of project goals.
• Guide design direction for multiple projects, contribute to product development plans, and participate in design reviews across various product types.
• Provide feedback on designs, address production and operation issues, and maintain a sense of urgency in delivering high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating digital product design across multiple projects.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and cross‑functional stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in English.
• Ability to independently determine approaches to technical problems and make sound judgment on schedules and risk.

Required skills

• Expert use of UX/UI design tools such as Figma.
• Advanced knowledge of usability principles, user interface design principles, and design thinking processes.
• Strong visual, interaction, and user experience design capabilities.
