Senior PAM Engineer

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer to join its security practice in Bucharest. You will work with clients across various sectors, assessing their identity and access security, and designing and implementing robust PAM solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate the current state of security and identity management for client environments.
• Identify improvement opportunities and prepare implementation materials for PAM designs.
• Deploy, configure, and operate Idira (formerly CyberArk) solutions, including Core Privileged Access Security, Endpoint Privilege Manager, Application Access Manager, Privileged Session Manager, and related components.
• Provide troubleshooting, upgrades, and integration support for PAM tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams following SRE and DevOps principles.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Idira/CyberArk product suite.
• Strong knowledge of IAM & PAM ecosystems, standards (ISO 27000, NIST) and password repository technologies.
• Experience with remote‑session governance and security‑focused engineering.
• Relevant Idira/CyberArk certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Idira (CyberArk) modules: AAM (CCP, CP, ASCP), EPV, PVWA, CPM, PSM, HTML5 Gateway, PSMP, PTA.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python and/or JavaScript.
• Application integration with Idira.
• Familiarity with other PAM vendors (BeyondTrust, Delinea, Wallix, One Identity, Arcon).
