Senior DevOps Engineer – Fixed-Term (6 months)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join Bosch Service Solutions in Timișoara on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work closely with multiple project teams to design, build and operate reliable delivery pipelines that bring applications into production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, scan, deployment and release automation.
• Manage DevOps tooling, source‑control workflows, artifact repositories and container registries.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC technologies.
• Deploy and operate containerised workloads on Kubernetes, OpenShift or similar platforms, maintaining Helm charts and manifests.
• Support cloud, private‑cloud, hybrid‑cloud and multi‑cloud environments, including cost‑optimization activities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise application and platform reliability, scalability and availability.
• Perform routine IT operations tasks such as incident support, system checks and platform maintenance (patching, upgrades, backup and recovery).
• Apply security best practices for access control, secret management, vulnerability scanning and compliance.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security and operations teams and mentor junior DevOps engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer or Infrastructure Automation Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools like Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Experience deploying and managing containerised applications on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
