Senior DevOps Engineer – Fixed-Term (6 months)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join Bosch Service Solutions in Timișoara on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, security and operations teams to design, automate and operate reliable delivery pipelines and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, scan, deploy and release automation.
• Maintain DevOps tooling, source‑control workflows, repositories, registries and delivery automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Deploy and operate containerised applications on Kubernetes, OpenShift or similar platforms, maintaining Helm charts and deployment manifests.
• Support cloud, private cloud, hybrid and multi‑cloud environments, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Drive cloud‑cost optimisation through rightsizing, tagging and usage analysis.
• Apply best practices for access control, secret management, vulnerability scanning and compliance.
• Perform platform maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, backups and recovery support.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE or Infrastructure Automation Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience deploying and managing containerised workloads on Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Helm, cloud cost optimisation and multi‑cloud environments.
