Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Bosch Group you will design, build and operate a secure, reliable Azure‑based cloud platform that enables engineering teams to run their workloads efficiently. You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with DevOps, security and platform stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cloud tenant and subscription topics, supporting engineering teams in application development.
• Drive infrastructure reliability and operational readiness, covering availability, system administration and basic networking.
• Coordinate security‑related cloud processes and compliance deliverables such as risk assessment, threat modeling, penetration‑testing readiness and incident response.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers on CI/CD pipelines and ensure operational stability of the platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure/operations on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of infrastructure tooling (Terraform, ARM templates) and automation (PowerShell, Bash).
• Solid understanding of system administration and basic networking (DNS, routing, high availability).
• Experience with cloud security processes including vulnerability management, risk assessment, threat modeling, penetration testing and incident response.
