Senior Bootloader Engineer

About the role

Accenture Industry X is looking for a Senior Bootloader Engineer to join its Embedded Engineering Capability. You will help shape a Software‑Defined Vehicle Platform that unifies Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR, enabling safe, secure and upgradable automotive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of safe and secure bootloader architectures.
• Support hardware bring‑up for automotive SoCs such as Renesas R‑Car and Qualcomm.
• Integrate, configure and adapt bootloaders to load hypervisors, operating systems and firmware images.
• Collaborate with customer and internal teams to qualify boot solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ARM‑based automotive SoC architecture and security subsystems.
• Hands‑on experience with secure boot, multiple boot stages (Boot ROM, ATF, SPL/U‑Boot, QNX IPL, device tree, partition tables, A/B update logic).
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
