SAP Foreign Trade Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an SAP Foreign Trade Consultant to act as the key interface between business and IT for Order-to-Cash and Source-to-Pay processes. You will drive the value of foreign trade sub-processes, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and continuously improve global Foreign Trade IT processes, including compliance, export & import, preference management and Intrastat.
• Support and execute foreign trade deployment activities as part of international SAP rollout and transformation projects.
• Analyze business requirements, regulatory changes and cross-functional dependencies to design process changes.
• Serve as the primary contact for business and IT stakeholders across global regions, facilitating communication and collaboration.
• Lead workshops, gather requirements and translate them into standardized process solutions.
• Train, coach and support business users in adopting standardized foreign trade processes and solutions.
• Drive change-management initiatives and maintain up-to-date process documentation, functional specifications and project artifacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Fluent English (B2/C1 level).
• Several years of experience in SAP consulting or industry environments, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
• Proven experience with SAP Foreign Trade processes, either through project delivery or operational roles.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Passion for digital transformation and a vision for an AI-enabled supply chain.
• Willingness to work in an international environment and travel regularly.
• Demonstrated initiative, persuasiveness and assertiveness.
