Sales Engineer – Electrification

About the role

ABB is seeking a Sales Engineer for its Electrification business to drive sales of low‑voltage and medium‑voltage products and solutions in a designated market. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to achieve growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Sell low‑voltage and medium‑voltage products, systems and services, meeting volume, product mix and profitability targets.
• Prepare offers in coordination with the Product Marketing team, ensuring correct technical and commercial terms.
• Develop sales plans for assigned geographies, product categories or customer segments and conduct regular status reviews.
• Negotiate contracts, create proposals and close transactions using effective sales techniques.
• Promote ABB’s value proposition and support marketing activities within the assigned market.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial or electrical markets.
• Sound knowledge of low‑voltage and medium‑voltage products.
• University degree with a technical specialty.
• Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
