Quality Engineer – Production (2‑Year Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Quality Engineer – Production will support Bosch's Blaj plant by analysing defective parts, maintaining the failure catalogue and ensuring that corrective actions are effectively implemented. This fixed‑term position focuses on maintaining high quality standards in the production of sensors and industrial components.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse internal defective parts and update the failure catalogue.
• Propose and request modifications to the failure catalogue.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external complaints, 8D reports, problem‑solving sheets (PSS) and concessions.
• Coordinate, follow‑up and verify line release documents.
• Collect and monitor corrective actions (Q Alert, 8D, PSS, PDCA) for failed or scrap parts.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly quality reports.
• Manage the quarantine area, including blocking, storing, scrapping and releasing parts according to documentation.
• Coordinate system audits (product and process) within the department.
• Maintain and improve standards for manual visual inspection.
