Product Test Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

As a Product Test Engineer at Bosch's Cluj Plant, you will lead the planning, installation, and operation of test processes for automotive and mobility products. You will work closely with production teams to ensure test equipment is standardized, reliable, and aligned with quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and customize test processes, including equipment installation and release.
• Standardize test areas across the Cluj Plant and monitor key performance indicators.
• Provide second‑level support, handle escalations, and assist ramp‑up and series production.
• Track costs, propose reductions, and report detailed improvements.
• Implement product test specifications and train technicians and engineers.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in production process optimisation.
• Strong commitment to targets and ability to resolve conflicts systematically.
• Excellent communication skills and advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Linux operating system (experience with embedded software development is a plus).
