Product Owner - Funnel Optimization, Acquisition (Home'Bank App)

About the role

ING Bank Romania is looking for a Product Owner to own the optimization of the end-to-end acquisition funnel in the Home'Bank mobile app, from install to activation. The role sits in the Acquisition & Growth ecosystem, at the intersection of mobile, digital marketing, product and engineering, UX/UI, data and analytics. It is a high-impact position focused on conversion, activation and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the mobile acquisition funnel (install, onboarding, activation), identify drop-offs and frictions, and monitor KPIs such as CVR, activation rate and step-by-step performance
• Design and run A/B tests and experiments, turn insights into hypotheses and feed a continuous test, learn and scale loop
• Optimize in-app onboarding flows, screens and interactions with UX, improving clarity, simplicity and trust
• Partner with Product Owners, developers and marketers, aligning improvements with traffic quality and campaign strategy
• Build and maintain funnel dashboards, ensure proper event tracking and share insights with stakeholders

Required profile

• Experience in funnel optimization, CRO, digital acquisition or product analytics
• Strong understanding of mobile app journeys and user behavior, with an analytical mindset focused on conversion and performance
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
• Ability to work with engineering teams and manage stakeholders clearly

Required skills

• Experience with analytics tools (GA4/Adobe, MMP, Amplitude, etc.) is a plus
• Understanding of app environments, tracking and implementation logic
