Product Design Engineer – Fixed Term (up to 36 months)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Design Engineer to join our Blaj site on a fixed‑term basis (up to 36 months). You will work on the development and optimisation of automotive and industrial components, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Modify existing product functions and elements.
• Create CAD models and technical drawings of assemblies and parts based on customer specifications.
• Develop and evaluate design solutions, considering functional, material, production and economic aspects.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes in partnership with relevant departments.
• Analyse product functions and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Perform strength, dimension and weight calculations for designed parts.
• Generate parts lists, technical tables and instruction documents for complete systems.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD design tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
