Planning & Reporting Financial Controller

About the role

The Planning & Reporting Financial Controller will develop a deep understanding of Airbus Aerostructures' business model and strategic goals, translating them into financial planning, reporting and analysis. The role supports decision‑making across the organisation by providing accurate forecasts, KPI tracking and financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and multi‑year target setting, linking KPIs to company performance.
• Develop and run financial models, simulations and business cases for projects, M&A and tenders.
• Produce detailed financial reports, analyse variances and advise on corrective actions.
• Identify cost optimisation opportunities, monitor savings and support execution of cost‑reallocation models.
• Ensure compliance with finance processes, interact with auditors and support statutory reporting of affiliates.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in finance or controlling.
• Fluent English; German or French a plus.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and solution‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace tools.
