Orthopedic Sales Representative – Bucharest

About the role

As a Sales Representative for Orthopedics (Trauma) at Stryker, you will drive growth of the portfolio across Bucharest by building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and delivering innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes. You will report to the Orthopedic Sales Manager and work in a collaborative, relationship‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and grow Stryker’s Orthopedics portfolio within the Bucharest territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital stakeholders and other healthcare professionals.
• Organise product presentations, workshops and demonstrations for existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities by analysing customer needs, market trends and competitor activity.
• Support customers in selecting solutions that match clinical needs and budgets.
• Manage sales forecasts, tender opportunities, contract proposals and follow‑up activities.
• Coordinate with internal Logistics and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth delivery, invoicing and inventory management.
• Represent Stryker at local and regional exhibitions, congresses and educational events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medicine or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven medical device sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with healthcare stakeholders.
• Fluent in Romanian and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time within the territory.
