Operational Controller – GT Sales Europe

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Operational Controller to join the Grid Technologies Finance team. In this role you will take end‑to‑end ownership of selected Execution Units (EXUs) at EU level and act as a trusted finance partner for regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide transparency and analysis across all regional financial KPIs.
• Drive financial transparency, forecasting accuracy, and insightful analysis for Sales, owning sales‑driven KPIs such as Order Intake and Sales Margin.
• Contribute to the standardisation, digitalisation, and automation of reporting processes using tools like Alteryx.
• Monitor performance through variance analysis, trend tracking, and clear explanation of key deviations.
• Collaborate closely with EXU stakeholders and the regional controlling lead while supporting headcount and SG&A planning for GT Sales Europe.
• Support monthly, quarterly and cycle‑based reporting activities, including preparation of key messages and management explanations.

Required profile

• BA/BS/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance with strong knowledge of financial controlling and IFRS.
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or Audit, able to manage multiple priorities and reporting requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with digitalisation tools such as Alteryx, Power BI and Excel, and a strong digital mindset.
• Knowledge of ERP and finance systems, ideally SAP/Spiridon, with the ability to think outside the box and drive change.
• Proactive, results‑oriented attitude combined with strong collaboration and team‑player skills.
• Fluent English; additional German proficiency is a plus.
