Natural Capital Asset Manager

About the role

Nuveen, a global investment leader, is seeking a Natural Capital Asset Manager for its Romania land portfolio. The role involves managing databases, tenant relationships, and supporting acquisition and lease projects to achieve fund strategy objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage land plot, tenant, and lease databases for the Romanian portfolio.
• Handle correspondence with tenants, lease agreements, and rent invoicing.
• Support modelling for acquisitions, swaps, sales, and leases, providing input to regional and country managers.
• Coordinate with accounting, legal, and consultancy service providers to ensure smooth property transactions.
• Monitor tenant arrears, vacant land, and maintain collection levels above 98%.
• Prepare valuation reports, quarterly portfolio information, and support external property valuations.
• Oversee title insurance processes and assist with financial audit documentation.

Required profile

• Good finance and accounting skills.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Agricultural Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience or knowledge in farming, real estate, or property management is desirable.
• Fluency in Romanian and English; additional language is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and independent judgment abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for database and financial modelling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
