Microsoft Cloud Architect - Pre-Sales

About the role

PwC is looking for a Microsoft Cloud Architect to join its Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics team in Bucharest. The role focuses on pre‑sales activities, translating client business challenges into cloud and AI solutions and supporting the sales cycle from discovery to proposal.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, assess client readiness and identify cloud and AI transformation opportunities.
• Design scalable Microsoft Azure solutions, including AI services, analytics and hybrid‑cloud architectures.
• Develop business cases, ROI and TCO models to demonstrate value of proposed solutions.
• Support RFP responses, proof‑of‑concepts, competitive bids and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Produce technical and commercial proposals, define success criteria and KPIs.
• Maintain expertise in Microsoft cloud and AI technologies and contribute to internal knowledge assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a cloud architect with a strong focus on pre‑sales and client engagement.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical designs and roadmaps.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with executives and technical teams.
