Junior Internal Audit – German Speaking

About the role

PwC is seeking a Junior Internal Audit professional who is fluent in German and English to join its Risk Assurance Services team in Bucharest. The role offers hands‑on experience on internal audit and risk assurance engagements, reporting to senior staff and ultimately to directors within the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in internal audit and internal controls projects, assessing design and operating effectiveness of business process controls.
• Support financial audits using a top‑down, risk‑based approach under supervision of experienced auditors.
• Develop and execute testing strategies for automated application controls, IT General Controls and manual controls.
• Assist in evaluating compliance and operational processes for large enterprises or professional services firms.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, technology or a related field with elements of IT or audit.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of finance/accounting or business processes is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency).
