Junior Engineering Business Operations Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Engineering Business Operations Analyst to join the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team. In this role you will support the Head of Engineering by providing operational, financial and analytical assistance across the engineering department.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare executive reports, dashboards, presentations and business summaries for engineering leadership.
• Monitor actual engineering expenditure against forecasts, perform variance analysis and highlight financial risks.
• Coordinate purchase orders, track contract status and collaborate with Finance to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain visibility of resource allocation, update allocation data and monitor utilization across engineering teams.
• Ensure timely completion of activity reports, follow up on actions and maintain governance trackers.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets and Power BI, and analyse operational, financial and resource data to identify trends.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in business operations, finance or engineering support.
• Ability to work closely with senior engineering managers and finance partners.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
