Junior Backend Developer

About the role

Join Bosch Service Solutions in Timișoara as a Junior Backend Developer. You will work within a collaborative development team to design, build, and deliver backend solutions that meet customer requirements and support the company’s mission of exceeding expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and functional consultants to understand and implement end‑to‑end customer requirements.
• Create synergies across customers to increase standardisation of processes.
• Translate technical design details into clean, maintainable application code following established standards.
• Manage tasks autonomously, including effort estimation and prioritisation.
• Produce high‑quality software and document specifications and support manuals.
• Continuously improve development practices together with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies, especially STIBO Step MDM.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and/or SAP integrations (hands‑on experience is a plus).
• Understanding of REST APIs and token‑based authentication.
• Experience or coursework with SQL (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to source‑control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab.
• Basic experience with CPI communications, legacy system integrations and quality‑assurance techniques.
• Ability to read technical specifications and translate them into functional software.
• Eagerness to work in agile teams and adopt agile methodologies.
