JavaScript Engineer (2-4yrs Experience, Angular/React/NestJS)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced JavaScript Engineer with 2‑4 years of relevant experience. At Atta you will work on a modern tech stack, creating powerful, user‑focused experiences across mobile, web and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop medium‑size features such as authentication or payment modules.
• Work in 2‑week sprints using Scrum and JIRA.
• Perform regular code reviews and write clear specifications.
• Design architecture for medium features and break them into manageable tasks.
• Estimate, document and communicate tasks effectively.
• Make data‑driven technical decisions and ask clarifying questions.

Required profile

• Passion for building software products that solve real problems.
• Continuous desire to improve technical and non‑technical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Required skills

• 2‑4 years of Frontend/JavaScript development.
• Solid OOP knowledge and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• HTML5, CSS3 and a CSS pre‑processor (LESS/SASS/SCSS).
• Experience with at least one framework: Angular, React or NestJS.
• Responsive, mobile‑first development using Bootstrap, Material or CSS Grid.
• Understanding of browser internals, HTTP and CORS.
• Debugging and performance optimisation.
• RESTful web services.
• Bonus: Reactive programming, Webpack, accessibility, animations.
• Bonus: SQL/PostgreSQL/NoSQL databases and JS ORM frameworks.
• Bonus: Native mobile development with React Native.
