IT Service Desk Agent – Fixed-Term (Bucharest)

About the role

As an IT Service Desk Agent you will be the first point of contact for colleagues seeking technical assistance across the organization. You will handle requests via phone, chat, email and the ticketing system, delivering prompt and empathetic support while working within a structured shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Log, track and resolve incidents using the company ticketing platform.
• Perform standardized IT tasks such as device setup, software installation and user account management.
• Educate users on available support channels and recommended IT tools.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain service‑desk coverage from 08:00 to 18:00.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑service mindset with empathy and clear communication.
• Punctuality and solid administrative habits.

Required skills

• Experience with ITSM tools or ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL service‑management principles.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot desktop hardware and software issues.
