Intermediate Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Backend Developer to join Bosch Service Solutions in Timișoara. You will work on end‑to‑end implementation of customer requirements, contributing to our enterprise and IT service portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop and deliver backend solutions.
• Create synergies across customers to increase standardisation of processes.
• Align with IT architects, functional consultants and process experts to ensure consistent technical architecture.
• Translate technical specifications into production‑ready code following established standards.
• Manage tasks independently, including estimation and prioritisation.
• Produce high‑quality software and maintain documentation, including operational support manuals.
• Continuously improve team ways of working and adopt agile practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Fluent English (B2/C1).
• Strong knowledge of STIBO Step MDM and its token‑based API architecture.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP integrations.
• Proficiency in REST API integration and legacy system endpoints.
• Familiarity with CPI communications.
• Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with source‑control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket or GitLab.
• Hands‑on experience in unit, integration and load testing and quality‑assurance techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in agile teams.
