HSE Supervisor – Wind Farm Project (Constanta)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Supervisor to lead HSE activities on a wind farm development and construction project in Constanta, Romania. The role reports to the Project Manager and works closely with site teams, contractors and regulators to ensure compliance throughout construction, commissioning and operation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE plans, procedures and safe work method statements in line with ISO 45001 and Romanian labour regulations.
• Carry out daily safety inspections, toolbox talks and monitor PPE usage, contractor compliance and hazard identification.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near‑misses, document root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and lead indicator tracking for the whole site.
• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to project management and communicate with regulatory authorities and local communities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HSE supervision experience in construction, preferably in renewable‑energy projects.
• Valid HSE/Safety Supervisor certification (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) and knowledge of ISO 45001/ISO 14001.
• Familiarity with Romanian labour law and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Experience in incident investigation, root‑cause analysis and safety audits.
